Summer is Near!

Ryker got to meet his cousins Rhett and Rydge. They were so funny laying on the couch by each other- trying to hold each other's hands. What silly boys. I hope they grow up and play all the time together.
I love sitting on the back patio when it's nice weather and shady. Ryker likes being in his sling caccoon- nice and snuggely. We are looking forward to many summer nights around the nice fire pit Rick built last summer.
Jordy got a new puppy!! Her name is Kodak (Koda) for short. She is a Border Collie, Blue Heeler, Australian Shepherd mix- a hearty mutt that is lucky to have a good boy named Jordy for her owner. She was the runt of the litter and carried all around the farm and barn by little kids. She definitely likes to be around people, and will surely become a great dog under Jordy's skillful training.
My yard is in full bloom and well maintained by my Gardener named Rick :) He seriously works hard in the yard many nights a week, and it shows. It's an enjoyable place to sit in the swing and rock a new baby.

Happy Easter!

A Spring Day

I picked Ryker out a cute plaid shirt to wear for Easter (even though I'm not taking him to church quite yet). Rick was so excited about it, and kept telling him what a cute boy he was while he dressed him. Then we get to the White's for our Easter dinner and egg hunt, and what does he do?! Pee's all over it!! Total outfit change required... why did I buy him a Janie and Jack outfit he wore for a whole hour! Ahh... buddy...
All tuckered out after some reading! Poor boy has a kindergarten teacher for a mom. I sit him in his bumbo in the mornings and read him a book. Early Literacy Skills my boy! :)
I can see you!
